| ::: Bobby Brown Christmas Special To Air on Bravo: "Being Bobby Brown: Christmas with the Browns" is premiering Dec. 21 at 11:00 pm. Bobby, his wife Whitney Houston and family are having a "holly jolly Christmas." Familiar faces from "Being Bobby Brown" return as the whole Brown clan make last-minute preparations for their Christmas gathering, from trips to the grocery store, hours in the kitchen cooking the holiday spread, and trimming the tree with care. Bravo couldn't let 2005 come to an end without indulging viewers with another helping of 'Being Bobby Brown'," said Lauren Zalaznick, President of Bravo. "This holiday special will take a look at how this very public family spends their private holiday time together." The series "Being Bobby Brown" premiered
June 30, 2005, and followed Brown, his superstar wife Whitney and his
extended family over the course of six months. Viewers saw what it was
like for them to live their lives in the spotlight, deal with personal
problems, all while showing the deep bonds of a close-knit family. The Ray star was thrilled when Houston and husband Bobby Brown showed up at a party he hosted at Hollywood restaurant Miyagi's and was stunned when the soul diva stepped up on stage. He recalls, "I go to the bathroom and as I'm going in the bathroom I hear somebody go, 'You know I don't do this for everybody. I get paid a million dollars to sing this song,' and Whitney goes on stage and sings I Will Always Love You better than she's ever sung it in the past 10 years. "People literally held their cell phones up, called their parents, their friends. I have it on tape in a safe deposit box." Foxx recalls Brown's performance was also a rarity - because the R+B star forgot the words to his own song. Now the R'n'B star plans to take on the likes of Abba with her very own musical. Fully recovered after stints in rehab, Whitney plans a new album of original songs in early 2006, but fans will also be delighted to hear that she's sanctioned plans for a musical based on her many hits. Whitney's also planning three new movie roles next year - her first foray back onto the big screen since the nineties, when she starred in The Bodyguard.
